stil cant, this time, the 'invalid file found' was Fullbuild0.pckage or sumthing close to that.. before, it was the czech help file.. *sigh* I'll try reinstalling.. ;( thx lot, btw...
This game makes us crazy because these patches . I got the same problem like you before, when I installed the first patch (v1.2.7), I had to remove the game many times. First backup your save game before do this thing. 1.Make sure you backup your save games. 2.Uninstall and Remove everything related to The sims 3. I mean after you uninstall the game, you have to delete the folder "EA Games" too, clean everything.Make sure you already empty recycle bin too. 3.Go to Start->Regedit. Go to the Path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE", at here you will see "Electronic Arts" and "Sims" right click on two this folder, choose delete it. After done with the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE", now move to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE" this path also have "Electronic Arts" too, right click on it and choose delete it. 4. Now install your game again, hope it will work for you like it had already worked for me.

That is reload version. Must upgrade to Retail version to avaiilable to update latest version for The sims 3 Here is the patch upgrade reload version to Retail version
I have updated my game version to "1.0.631.00002" and when i try to install this 1.2.7 patch,it shows this message : "the setup has detected that the installed game region for this update is incorrect. This update requires a different game region in order to be installed" and whenever i edit the "SKU" part and change it to "1" the setup starts but after a few seconds it opens "the sims 3" patches page and then it shows another error message like this "Insufficient disk space"!! and when i click ok the "finish" page shows up saying that the wizard was interrupted before it could be installed...and when i press the finish button it closes! I have searched for a solution in almost any websites but i couldnt find one,I even reinstalled it and installed it by unchecking the "EA download manager"but I have alot of memory and disk space for the game...and my is an illegal one...could you guys help me plz?
My game version is 1.0.631.00002,and I downloaded a 1.2.7 update compatible with my version of the sims3,and i changed the "sku" in to "2" but when it reaches 21% and its trying to copy the file "game\bin\helppages\CZE_CZ\help_updates.html" it stops and shows this error "dfc-gorilla error Invalid file found" what should I do?

. I got the same problem like you before, when I installed the first patch (v1.2.7), I had to remove the game many times. First backup your save game before do this thing.
