Hey I downloaded a patch and now my version has changed to 1.0.631.00002, but I can't crack it, it now says please insert disc labeled sims 3 ...I've tried 4 different cracks but it's not working. and I downloaded this patch but it's not working for mac, do you have any tips for this? Thank you

Andy, I cant download the patch from rapidshare. I have to download it from somewhere else. Is there any site you can refer me to?
Ive downloaded the reloaded to retail version patch from this site, and it works perfectly. THANKS..
But, then, I couldnt upgrade mine to 1.46. Since I cant download from rapidshare, I dont have those other patches that youve posted in all4tech. 1.27, 1.3.24, n 1.4.6
So I downloaded them from another site. Ive got the instant 1.0.3...2 to 1.46 patch. Also downloaded the patch to 1.27, each time I install them, in the end, it says "invalid file found".
I uninstalled, and reinstalled, repatch the reloaded version with the one I got from you. worked fine.. Then I installed the 1.27 patch, and it did not work..
please, Im FRUSTRATED!!!
p.s. before installing the patch, i already changed the SKU to 2, before it was 7.

When im going to patch 1.2.7 , it says
" The setup has detected that the installed game region for this update is incorrect. This update requires a different game region in order to be installed."

Here are 3 patches for you. Download 1.2.7,1.3.24 ,1.4.6 If it said error about region, try to change it into 1. Because my SKU is 1, i think you should have a try with this value.

Go to start->type Regedit.
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Sims->The sims 3. At here, look at your right side, there is SKU, right click on it and choose Modify, change the value data into 2.
i've changed the value into 1 but it says "invalid file found" my version is 1.0.631.00002
What's that file? When I updated to v1.2.7 I also have that error. If that file is Shaders_Win32.precomp, I will have to copy your original Shaders_Win32.precomp back.
